The Chronic Wound Consumables Scheme (CWCS) covers the cost of wound consumable products for people who have diabetes and a chronic wound, and who are 65 and over, or 50 and over for First Nations people.

To access these, you'll need to register your patient with the scheme and place orders directly for home or clinic delivery. You can learn more here:

So if you feel your clients can benefit from this, please refer them to their GP, nurse, or podiatrist to order free of charge
HEALTH CARE PROFESSIONALS TRAINING
Monash University has developed health professional training and education packages to support best practice chronic wound care management. If you are a health professional and you want to access the CWCS scheme and online ordering portal, you must enrol and complete this training.
