Mobiderm® Bandaging System

The Mobiderm® bandaging system stey by step

Step 1 Protect the skin: Cover the limb with a cotton bandage in a spiral. Thuasne® Cotton Short Stretch Bandage creates a shearing effect and protects the skin.

Step 2 Mobilize the oedema: Cover the limb with Mobiderm® (15mm x 15mm blocks for limbs) (5mm x 5mm blocks for on top of hands or feet) ensuring no gaps in a spiral single layer.

Step 3 Contain the oedema: Cover the Mobiderm® in a spiral half cover overlap  with Biflexideal Short Stretch Bandage ( Light compression)

Step 4 Compress the oedema: Cover the Biflexideal with Biflex 16+ or 17+ Medium Stretch Bandage (Higher compression) following the bandage markings. BIFLEX 16+ (light) is recommended for mild to moderate lymphedema. BIFLEX 17+ (strong) is recommended for moderate to severe lymphedema.
